Minister Coleby-Davis convened a meeting with major stakeholders including representatives from the Bahamas Insurance Association, The Insurance Commission of The Bahamas, The Bahamas Chamber of Commerce, The Police Traffic Division, The Digital Transformation Unit, Deloitte & Touche, The Road Traffic Department and Acting Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Energy & Transport.

Preliminary discussions took place with all attendees making important contributions on how best to address the prevalence of uninsured motorists and vehicles traversing our streets daily from their respective vantage points.

As a result of the discussions, breakout subcommittees are being established to examine policy and technical issues and future meetings are being scheduled to build a roadmap for execution of the agreed objectives.
